Just before we roll into October, here are a few more features to keep you busy.
Cancellations shown on dashboard
Cancellations are a fact of life for service-based businesses. While not wishing to highlight these … irritations, we have added cancellations to the 7 day appointment chart on the Timely dashboard.
Cancellations are shown in red and if you mouse over a red block for a given day, you get a popup showing the actual number of cancellations. If there is no red on your chart then congratulations, you have no cancellations this week!
Book now buttons for product categories
In addition to individual booking buttons for services and staff, we have introduced buttons for categories. These shortcut buttons are designed to shorten the online booking process for your customers and allows you to add buttons on specific pages and sections of your website.
Access these from Promote > Book now buttons on Timely
New option to delete bookings
We have received a number of requests recently from users wanting to delete appointments from the calendar. Deletions are permanent removals and unlike cancellations, they will not appear on any reports.
The types of bookings that require deletion appear to be mistakes, test bookings, and so on.
Take care with the deletions and have a play with the other two features.

cancellation feature is cool BUT it shows the price in the dashboard sale, cancellations need to show a nil balance to help with end of sale cash ups as they are not shown in the diary you can not view the price on that cancelled service
