Best salon names of 2015
We love working with so many amazingly creative people here at Timely and wanted to start a bit of a tradition by posting our top salon name picks for 2015.
Picking the name of your shiny new salon should be the easy part of opening a new business. But often new business owners are fraught with indecision when it comes to nailing down the title of their new baby. You can go with the obvious, picking your own name, or go with a more descriptive approach… telling your potential clients what you do… but the most memorable ones are those that give you a punch! The creative, the inspiring and the down right hilarious.
With clients in over 70 countries worldwide the team here at Timely thought we’d inspire you by posting our top 12 picks for the best salon names of 2015. This was no easy feat! Timely has nearly 5000 business customers, each with their own unique brand and flavor but we had to narrow it down to just 12:
- Flattop Boogie – Lismore, Australia
- Rabid Poodle Beauty Parlour – Washington, USA

And… our #1 Best Salon Name for 2015 goes to…
- Jimmy Figg’s. Bare-knuckle Barber from Newcastle, Australia! Kris and Belinda Leck opened their shop in 2013 with a focus on personal connection and community. The couple drew their inspiration for the shops name from the 1700s British fencer James Figg. Men have come to realize that it’s not only OK to pamper themselves, but it’s a feel good activity and visiting an exclusive barber like Jimmy Figgs is a special treat. You can read more about their journey here. Love your work peeps
