Welcome to the team, Richard!

Richard is based on the beautiful Otago Peninsula and will work closely alongside our other Dunedin-based developer, Ryan Dickison.

I’ve admired the incredible talent of the Timely tech team ever since their first release and am incredibly honoured to join the ranks. Being part of a team that cares passionately about their customers, product and staff makes me look forward to starting work each day.

After almost finishing a chemistry degree at Victoria University, Richard tried a first year Computer Science paper on a whim and never looked back. He has since spent nearly 6 years at Trade Me (New Zealand’s biggest e-commerce website) honing his development skills.

Before starting with Timely, Richard spent a year as a full-time dad looking after his daughter, Ella. Awesome stuff.
