Improvements to gift voucher sales

  • Making sure when just a recipient name is added that the voucher isn’t linked to a specific customer.
    Previously we were searching the client list and attaching a gift voucher to an existing record if it matched the entered client name.
  • Recipient name can be left blank on gift vouchers.
    This change lets you leave the recipient field blank if required, great for situations where who the voucher is for, might not yet be known.
  • Improve display on the sale complete page when there is no recipient name on a gift voucher.
    This change supports the previous one, improving the display of a just purchased gift voucher to account for the fact that there is no recipient specified.
  • No longer automatically email the gift voucher to the sending/purchasing client
    Previously we would always email the sender the gift voucher if they had an email, we now only send an email if the user explicitly chooses to at the end of the sale
