What is Cardless checkout?
If you’re a TimelyPay user, you can now offer your clients the best in store payment experience! With cardless checkout, your client will be able to store their card (you can even make it a requirement). If your client is happy to pay with their stored card, you can charge their stored card and take the payment while they’re sitting in the chair!
The client gets an amazing payment experience, you get to skip the awkward payment experience at the end of the service, and your business stands out from your competitors! No machines, no cards, no fuss. It’s the easiest way for clients to pay.
How do I get started with Cardless Checkout?
If you’re already using TimelyPay, you’re likely to see the option to charge a client’s stored card start to appear – this is because your clients can already choose to save their card when they pay you online.
To be in the draw to win the weekly prize for you and a client, all you need to do is charge their stored card in store, and you’re in the draw!
There are a couple of ways to encourage clients to save their cards:
- Turn on the new Card capture feature that requires clients who book online to save a card. This can be used when you take deposits or required even if you don’t take payment. Find out more
- Send clients a message asking them to add a card to their account. Clients can add and update their cards through client login so you can send a message promoting cardless checkout and get them to add those cards. Find out more
