We are very pleased to announce our new Head of Finance, Angus Weir. He's here to pull all the levers on the Timely rocketship to keep us shooting for the stars. We're psyched to have someone to count the beans who's as cool as Angus.
Angus is a perfect fit for Timely, as he is no stranger to start-ups. Angus spent 3 years as CFO with our friends at Vend during an impressive period of development. He’s experienced it all; 500%+ growth, global expansion, capital raising and a challenging restructure – so he’s certainly the one for the job of wrangling Timely.
Angus is excited about the prospect of teaming up with another world class SaaS team and identifies Timely’s exceptionally strong team, product and business model as the foundations for success.

Angus is passionate about how technology and innovation can support and bolster businesses, allowing them to simplify and focus on what they do best. His views on tech start-ups is one that matches perfectly with ours – it’s all about people. If you lose sight of that, then you’ve lost your way.
Outside of his work life, Angus enjoys getting some thrills with downhill mountain biking, snowboarding and learning to surf while trying not to drown. So far he has been successful.
