Welcome to the Team, Ange!
As Timely grows in size and scale, so too do our accounting responsibilities. To help wrangle the numbers, our finance team welcomes a new member: Ange Travers-Jones.
Ange has worked in finance for start-up companies for the last 16 years. Keen to keep learning and ready for something new, she jumped at the chance to board the Timely rocketship. This enthusiasm and experience makes her a hugely valuable asset to our fast growing company.
Ange started her career in the fashion industry, owning a small boutique in Cuba Mall, Wellington, before finding herself working with numbers in the tech space. Since then she’s worked in a number of finance roles for NZ start-ups including Vend, The Last Pickle and Southgate Labs.
At Timely, Ange will be managing the day-to-day accounting function, ensuring all of the numbers are recorded correctly, payments are made on time, and receivables managed.
When she isn’t crunching numbers, Ange enjoys spending time with her husband Simon and son Sasha. She also enjoys cooking and listening to electronic music, having been a DJ in a past life and even hosting a show for 7 years on RadioActive.
Ange has already made a great addition to the team and we’re thrilled to have her join the other Timely family based in Wellington.
