Welcome Amanda

This is done through comments and votes on our feedback forum, where the techbots sift through your feature requests and work tirelessly to make sure your suggestions are waiting there for you when you log into your dashboard.

While we enjoy being able to constantly add new features to Timely, the look, feel, and usability of the app is something we take great pride in and do not want to compromise when making improvements.

That’s why we’re chuffed to announce that Amanda Dorrell has joined the tech team in Wellington as a product designer. Amanda is already hard at work making sure that the features within the Timely app are always beautiful and easy-to-use.

Before joining the team, Amanda was working as a designer at Southgate Labs, a company formed by tech entrepreneurs Rowan Simpson, Michael Koziarski, and Amnon Ben-Or to help fledgling software businesses to grow. She has experience in both design and development, and has previously worked building iPhone apps, websites, and SaaS apps from ideas and concepts. There’s little that Amanda can’t do when it comes to building great software.

At Timely, Amanda will be making Timely a delight to use. If you notice that your dashboard is looking cleaner, some features are better laid out, or that the menu is looking more organised, you have Amanda to thank!

When Amanda is not dissecting lines of code at Timely or designing new pages, she can be found lifting weights at the gym, reading crime-comedy novels, and occasionally getting amongst some salsa dancing!
