Today Timely moves to a wonderful new support system called HelpScout.

Timely and HelpScout together

We’re excited to announce that various Timely teams (Support, Onboarding, Partners, Billing, Techbots) are using HelpScout from today!

HelpScout will be used to handle all incoming emails from you – our awesome customers. Since it’s people friendly, it’s a joy to use and communicating with their support team has been amazing!

Traditional support software tends to reduce customer emails to mere tickets and queues.  This focus doesn’t sit well with us. Fortunately, HelpScout returns customer emails back to their rightful place and over time, these emails become ongoing conversations with our customers.

This kind of simple language appears all over HelpScout which makes the app easy to learn and use. It is a great approach to building software and is something we aspire to as well.

Don’t just take my word for it, check out the scope of their blog posts, explore their website and why not jump into a free trial too.

What will change for you?

Effectively, nothing. The same outstanding Timely support that we’re known for will continue unabated. Most of the changes are behind the scenes and will simply result in a happier Timely crew.

Having said that, there are a couple of small differences: the help menu and the help docs.

The help menu

It doesn’t matter where you are in Timely, accessing help is a breeze! Just head to our simple Help menu at the top-right.

If you’re not sure how something works or have a question, make sure to check out our easy-to-follow help docs. We’ve lovingly crafted these to answer all your queries.

Still stuck? No worries, click Contact support to pop up this simple form:

Fill it out and an email will be sent to us instantly where one of our dedicated team will grab it and get back to you in a flash!

Help docs

While our help docs still contain the same easy-to-follow steps, they just look a lot nicer. In addition to the cosmetic improvements, the organisational structure and search is better.
