Running your salon or spa on an iPad or iPhone just got even easier. Here are some of our recent updates that will save you time and keep you organised.

More Power in Your Pocket

Scan & store documents in seconds

The days of spending hours filing are over! Now with the press of a button, you can scan and store all your multi-page forms and soap notes in Timely. To use our ‘Document Scanner’ in our iOS app, go on to the client’s profile, select ‘Create a document’ and then select ‘Add page’, the scanner automatically detects the page edges, scans and saves it.

Save time by uploading multiple photos at once

When you’ve been taking before and after photos all day, you might find your yourself scrolling through your photo gallery thinking that you’d like to upload some photos to Timely. As well as keeping your files organised, uploading photos into Timely saves your devices from getting bogged down storing large files. You can now select multiple photos in your gallery, then click ‘Share’ and you’ll see Timely show up as an option, from there you’ll be able to add them to the clients’ profile.

Consult App Integration

You’ve just completed a thorough consultation on the Consult app and made sure that yourself and your client are on the same page, but did you know that you can save it to their client profile for safe keeping? Once you’ve clicked ‘Complete consultation’ you’ll then see a ‘Save to Timely’ button, click it and save your consultation to the customers profile.

Help is just a tap away

We’ve made it even easier for you to get help when you need it! We’ve just added the ‘Help button’  to the iOS app, this means you’ll now find it easy to search for and read help docs in the app. You can also easily email the support team and receive replies in the app. And soon you’ll also be able to ‘live chat’ with us too. To access the ‘Help button’ in the app, simply jump into settings and select ‘Get help’.

Keep tabs on your cash flow

Keeping your till balanced and reconciled is an important part of managing your cash flow, and it only takes a few minutes in Timely. We’ve just made it even easier to manage, including the petty cash, with ‘Cash-up Banked’. While you’re in the app you can cash up as normal and then decide how much you want to leave in the float and how much you want to put in your bank. To use ‘Cash-up Banked’, make sure you’ve got ‘Cash up’ enabled and it will be available next time you close your register.

 


 

A little makeover is coming

In the near future, you might also notice that the app looks a little fresher, that’s because we’re updating it to match our new website and web app. We think it looks pretty neat and we hope that you’ll like it as much as we do!
