Coming soon: 3 new Timely features
At Timely, our mission is to build amazing software that saves you time and gives you back more of your day - and then keep making that software even better.
We are determined to make a great product that truly changes the way you do business and helps you reach your goals. It’s vital that we stay connected to you, our customers, and one way we can do this is by being transparent about the direction of the product.
With this in mind, here are 3 new Timely features we’re working on right now:
#1: Rooms and resources
The ability to attach rooms or resources to an appointment has been a hotly requested feature. Well, you spoke and we heard. That development is now underway! We reckon it’ll round out the calendar nicely.
Here’s a quick summary of how it will work:
- Set up your rooms or resources
- Choose which services they apply to
- Attach them to appointments on the calendar
- Configure rules for how they should be attached to online bookings when customers book online
We’re looking forward to adding this feature, so keep an eye out for more information about our progress.
#2: Improved security options
Timely is quickly becoming the #1 appointment system for small businesses in the health and beauty industries. We know that controlling access to your data in these types of businesses is important, so we’re adding more granular, detailed user access settings, including:
- Read-only calendar options
- Price hiding
- Restrictions on viewing customer contact details
- Options to limit report access
- Plus more!
This project is well-progressed and will shortly go into the testing phase. Stay tuned!
#3: An all-new iPad and iPhone app
Last week we announced that an all-new, fully-native app for iPad and iPhone is coming to Timely. This is a major overhaul of the existing app, and will be a joy to use on both iPad and iPhone. You can view a sneak-peek video of what it looks like here.

Really like timely, but need multiple appointments per time slot. There is a workaround: booking a different appointment and then rescheduling. But it is not good enough, as errors can easily happen. Are you guys planning this any time in the future? Thanks :)
